Yakima Chief Ranches (YCR, formerly Select Botanicals Group) is a hop breeding and brand management company that specializes in bringing the best quality hops to all brewery customers. Together, we continuously work to raise the bar on quality and transparency across the hop industry.

YCR is a member of Hop Breeding Company (HBC), a research and development organization committed to breeding and releasing premium hop brands. The HBC breeding program has yielded several immensely popular hop brands, including Citra^®, Mosaic^®, Ekuanot^® and most recently, Sabro™.

Once a brand is released as a commercial hop, YCR and Yakima Chief Hops leverage their vertically-integrated supply chain to bring premium hops to brewers.
