YCH Coronavirus Update
As a grower-owned organization driven by the spirit of family farms, the safety and well-being of our employees and partners is our number one priority. We understand that as a global hop supplier, we cannot ignore the growing concerns and effects that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing in our community.
We want to reassure our growers, brewing customers, distributors and vendors that our leadership team is closely monitoring the situation from a global perspective. We are assessing potential effects on all aspects of our organization, including employee travel, upcoming events, daily operations, order fulfillment and shipping logistics.
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
YCH staff members are in close contact with our transport companies to monitor their routes so that we can anticipate any potential issues of delivering our products to customers. At this time, we do not foresee any risk or interruption in the delivery of our hop products, however, we will keep our customers updated if there is any cause for concern.
Daily Operations
Our company supports and adheres to all guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, as well as our local and federal government. We are monitoring these guidelines on a daily basis and keeping our staff members informed.
We encourage all YCH employees to stay at home if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms, have any serious health concerns, or have come into contact with someone who may have been infected. We allow our staff to work from home whenever possible in order to avoid a disruption in company operations. All staff members are encouraged to wash their hands regularly and are required to wear gloves when handling product.
Upcoming Events and Travel
We have minimized, canceled or postponed all work-related international travel in an effort to do our part in keeping the situation contained.
Safety First
As a company that recently reached 730 days without a time loss incident, we take safety seriously knowing that there is nothing more important than the health and well-being of our employees and partners.
We will always keep our growers, customers and distributors updated first and foremost if we anticipate any changes. Please follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date company information.
